Capital and funding

Diversified funding

As an active investor, Hoist's funding requirements fluctuate over periods. We have therefore set a funding structure that combines access to low-cost, stable funding - with the ability to raise funds via the capital markets. We benefit from reliable access to funding across the market cycle.

Funding structure

As a banking-regulated institution, Hoist can take deposits from the general public. We offer savings accounts in seven European countries (EUR, SEK, PLN) and have a funding structure where retail deposits cover approximately 80% of total funding. The additional 20% is made up of various types of bonds, where capital markets access gives flexibility and allows access to larger amounts of funding quickly.

HoistSpar

HoistSpar is our savings offering. We offer term deposits, ranging from 3 months up to 5 years, and have more than 125,000 savings customers in seven countries. All our deposits are covered by the Swedish Deposit Guarantee Scheme. This caps the amount which each saver can deposit to SEK 1,150,000 or the equivalent in EUR/PLN.
